Why Sukalyanam?
Our motive is to provide the best quality in the products that we deal in and have kept our products list limited to maintain perfection.
Most importantly, we have a vast free grazing land around the farm where cows feed on wide variety of naturally grown plants and trees.
Ghee and Makkhan are being made using the traditional bilona method where the curd is churned manually for quite a long time.
It is your right and our responsibility to make you aware how we make your Makkhan and Ghee.
Step 1: Boiling the milk and formation of curd
The milk is boiled over a period of time i.e. from morning till evening on a low flame over a chulah fueled by desi cow dung. The smoke emitted does not adds to air pollution , infact emits oxygen in the atmosphere and is very beneficial. The curd which is formed overnight gets a yellow thick layer of malai due to boiling of milk for a longer period of time on a low flame and is very very beneficial. This curd is then churned to form ghee.
Step 2: Churning of curd
The most important and distinguishable act is the churning of curd. The ghee obtained from churning of curd is the only ghee recommended by Ayurveda and the ghee obtained through this method only, is beneficial. It helps in treating heart blockages, maintaining cholesterol levels, cancer treatment, obesity, hormonal imbalances, etc. Note:- The curd in the video is obtained from almost 15-16 ltrs of milk
Step 3: Separating the makkhan, heating the makkhan and obtaining ghee
The last stage is separating the makkhan that starts to float after the curd is churned properly. The makkhan is then taken and is heated over a low flame in a mud pot over a period of time which separates buttermilk (chaach) from ghee. Your A2 Bilona Ghee is ready to be served.
